As we continue to face the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re all being asked to follow the State’s stay-at-home order and distance ourselves to help stop the spread of the disease.
This can feel isolating and difficult, so it’s important to take steps to take care of yourself and your family.
Here’s some key ways to stay healthy and keep feeling good, even when you have to stay inside:
- Set a routine. We all have routines from morning to night — and practicing good social distancing can disrupt them. Setting and sticking to a routine can help create structure and reduce stress.
- Take care of your body. Decreasing your risk for COVID-19 starts with taking care of yourself. Try your best to eat healthy, well-balanced meals and avoid alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Get plenty of sleep and take virtual fitness, yoga, and meditation classes at a 30% discount with your benefits.
- Connect with friends & family. Make time to socialize with phone calls, video calls, text messages, and social media. Reconnect with old friends or make new ones. Talking with people you trust can help reduce stress and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Get help when you need it. If you’re feeling sick, stressed, upset, or isolated during this time, please take advantage of our telehealth services: https://bit.ly/39mreIP
