Staying in shape doesn’t have to break the bank.

With the Health & Welfare benefit, Laborers and their spouses can be reimbursed up to $150 each year for their favorite gym or health club membership. All you need to do is fill out a claims form and prove you’ve been a member at your club or gym for at least four months.

Click here to print a claims form to fill out and submit.

Your fitness benefit covers memberships at any gym or full-service health club with a variety of exercise equipment, including:

  • Cardiovascular equipment like treadmills and bikes
  • Strength-training equipment like free weights and weight machines

Don’t have a regular gym? You can also be reimbursed for class fees at a studio with instructor-led group classes such as:

  • Martial arts
  • Yoga
  • Gymnastics
  • Tennis
  • Aerobics
  • Spin
  • Barre
  • Kickboxing

The only thing your fitness benefit doesn’t cover is membership at a country club or sports league. Just make sure you go to your annual check-up with a PCP to qualify.

Work out the way you want. MLBF can help.
