UMass Memorial Health stays within the Cigna Network
Massachusetts Laborers’ Benefit Funds is pleased to inform you that your UMass Memorial Health provider will stay in network with Cigna through 03/31/2024.
Although final contract negotiations are ongoing, considerable progress has been made, and the extension allows additional time for a fair and reasonable long-term contract to be negotiated.
This extension includes the following medical groups that are part of UMass Memorial Health:
- UMass Memorial Medical Center
- Marlborough Hospital
- UMass Memorial Health Alliance – Clinton
- Harrington Memorial Hospital
- UMass Memorial Medical Group
The Fund office and the Board of Trustees are actively working with Cigna to ensure that disruption for our members is avoided while keeping costs as manageable as possible.
